Module Overview:

This module equips students with models and tools essential for shaping a business idea. Covered topics include problem definition and solving, stakeholder analysis, market research, idea generation, prototyping, and business models. Students will refine their pitching skills and explore strategies to extend their ideas beyond the course, ideal for budding entrepreneurs.

Assignments:

Students collaborate in multicultural teams to develop a business idea tackling a global challenge of their choosing. They’ll craft a video pitch to present their business plan effectively.

Upon completion, students will:

Systems Thinking

Module Overview:

In this module, students delve into the principles of design and systems thinking, covering topics such as an introduction to systems thinking, system components, analysis, and implementation.

Learning Outcomes & Assessment:

Upon completion of this course, students will:

Grasp the fundamentals and methodologies of design thinking and adeptly apply these methods to problem-solving, particularly in addressing the global challenges highlighted in the program.
Develop the ability to visualize systems and effectively utilize design thinking principles to construct appropriate systems.
Comprehend the process of assembling and integrating systems to address initial problems effectively.

Assignments:

Students will refine their business plans and expand upon them for presentation at the culmination of the program.
